The experience of
buying our Basset Hound puppy, Samson, from Easterbrook Bassets was a
great one. Once we decided that a basset was on our short list, we
looked online for local breeders and were fortunate to find the
Easterbrook website. We had done a lot of research online, but still
had many questions that we needed answers for. Angie was wonderful
about providing the information we requested in a timely and courteous
manner. From the moment the puppies were born, the pictures started
coming, and we were able to watch the puppies grow and really felt
like we were a part of the process. We visited Easterbrook when the
puppies were about 5 weeks old. It was obvious that the pups were
well loved and well cared for. The experience doesn’t end when you
take your pup home. We continue to rely on Angie for her experience
and expertise, always provided in a friendly and prompt manner. We
would highly recommend purchasing a Basset from Easterbrook

My wife Sandi and I “meandered”, over several years,
into the exciting decision to get a puppy together. She had lovely
Basset Hound years ago and just loved her Ellie. While
she has had other breeds; Sandi just has had a special warm spot for
Bassets. I have never had a dog of my own as an adult, due to living
with a son whose was very allergic to animals, so this was a
special. I thought it would be some future event though, where I
would get one of those “man and his big, bad dog breeds”, I imagined
that I would get, but this was not to be.
One morning Sandi returns from her night shift and greets me with an
intriguing question. “Honey” she said, “how would you like for us
gift ourselves with an early Christmas gift of a puppy? She went on
to say that she happened upon this breeder Angie of Easterbrook
Bassets, just a short while after her Basset Angie, had a litter of
12 pups. Sandi showed me the site and I could tell that this was a
love at first sight deal! That’s how we got acquainted with Angie
who is arguably one of the finest, warmest and most knowledgeable
Basset breeders either of us has ever encountered. I was so
impressed with her knowledge of the breed, helpfulness, and
patience, when it came to getting one of her puppies. She is a
consummate professional who is full of care for these beautiful dogs
and is very astute in linking them up with great families.
So to cut a long story short, we were lucky to find Angie and most
fortunate to be the proud parents of TWO Basset boys, namely Norbert
and Nigel. They have been with us for a short while and are settling
in
beautifully. We
would not hesitate to recommend Angie to
any of our friends!!

We purchased our basset hound "Leo" from
Angie at Easterbrook Bassets in 2009. Never having owned a Basset
before I was a little unsure of the breed. Leo is an amazing and
loving dog adored by the entire family. Angie has been wonderful
assisting us in the care of Leo. Her knowledge of the breed and
overall common sense of raising a puppy has been an enormous help to
us. She has answered many questions from grooming to proper feed. She
has owned Bassets for many years and has saved us several unnecessary
trips to the vet clinic w/ her knowledge and advice. When on public
outings w/ Leo several Bassett lovers have commented on his markings
and what a "classic Basset look" he has. He is a wonderful dog who
comes from fabulous bloodlines. We would highly recommend Easterbrook
Bassets to anyone wishing to add one of these remarkable dogs to

Angie has a tremendous amount of
knowledge when it comes to understanding the genetics of health,
conformation, temperament and color in animals. When it comes to
dogs, she has the uncanny ability of placing the right dog with the
right family. Eight years ago she placed a puppy with me. He was the
sweetest little guy and was everything Angie said he would be and
more. We were a perfect fit. Thank you, Angie, for caring so much
about the animals that you bring into this world. Your Bassets are

Last year while
researching the web to find a basset puppy for our family I had the
tremendous luck to come across the name of Easterbrook Bassets.
Having had basset hounds in my life since a little girl I knew that
whoever I purchased one from would need to love and understand the
breed as much as I do. It was apparent from the start that Angie
had spent a lot of time and attention in selecting her bassets
because of their quality and true characteristics unique
to the breed. It was evident from the day we picked her up that our
Louisa, the little puppy that we bought from them last year, was
extremely healthy, well adjusted and cared for. You could tell that

I have to start of by saying I had a
really had time finding the right breeder to purchase my basset
from. I have searched countless sites and breeders .Then I came
across Easterbrook Bassets it was the best thing that has
ever happened to our family...I was nervous about getting our
basset Mojo. I have never had a puppy before or have had a puppy
of this breed. Angie had taken the time and patience to answer
all of my questions and concerns about the breed from nutrition
to potty training and any other questions I had...she greatly
takes pride in breeding these beautiful bassets and her dogs
are absolutely STUNNING!!! When Mojo came home to us I couldn't
believe how beautiful he was with his correct conformation and
his wrinkles of skin he was something to BEHOLD!!! Pictures of
Mojo did him no justice he was BREATH TAKING!!!!!Angie is
dedicated to breeding BEAUTIFUL bassets from the inside out.

My husband and I were lucky to get
a puppy from Easterbrook Bassets last litter. I was so
impressed with Angie's knowledge, help, and patience, when it
came to getting one of her puppies. She is a wonderful
breeder, full of care for these beautiful Bassets. We have
Maria, and she is a very healthy, happy, loving dog. She has
been that way since day one. It only shows that the care of
the breeder is number one. We had to have Maria shipped to
us, and Angie was wonderful. She has been wonderful since the
day I called her about her puppies. I knew she was a person I
could trust. We only wish we could have another one, but do
know that anyone who is lucky enough to get one of these pups
will be extremely happy with them. And you will be just as
impressed as I was with Angie. She is wonderful. Maria has
brought so much joy into our whole family's life, and all my

My boyfriend is an experienced hunter
and we have a couple of Bassets. We have been searching for a new
hunting buddy with the AKC Basset Hound standard qualities. I found
this with Easterbrook Bassets. He definitely has the Basset Hound
Standard Qualities that I have been searching for. I just bought a
Basset Hound Puppy from them and he has the sweetest temperament,
beautiful color, droopy wrinkles, and frame. Plus, I can't believe
how well potty trained he is for 8 weeks old. Angie's love
and dedication really shows in my pup. He is so healthy, happy, and
he has a beautiful shiny coat...and so unbelievably soft!!! If I
ever decide to get another Basset Hound, I will go back to
Easterbrook Bassets. I love my new puppy, and he has been a ball to
have. I have posted pictures of him on facebook and have gotten so
many emails and comments about how beautiful he is. My family adores
him and we all think that he is such a unique puppy. He has been a
great addition to my life and I would recommend Easterbrook
Bassets to a couple, family, or single person...they fit so easily
into any lifestyle. Angie's knowledge for Basset hound nutrition is
very helpful. The website is easy to navigate and full of useful
info...not to mention that Angie sent me a puppy packet with
additional info. My experience with Easterbrook Bassets has been the
best experience that I have ever had with a breeder. The shipping
price was a great price and cheaper then what I have seen other
Breeders charging. Angie gave me all the info I needed and answered
all my questions pretty fast. Angie kept updated pictures of the
puppies and emailed me pictures of what my puppy looked liked from
different stages in his life, along with pictures of his
parents and group sibling pics. She even called me the day after I
got him to see if I had any questions and to see how well he was
fitting in. I Definitely recommend buying a puppy from Easterbrook
Bassets- Definitely worth the price!!! Thank You so much Angie for
all your hard work and for my beautiful and healthy baby boy!
